Google Ads introduces ‘ad strength’ indicator & reporting for responsive search ads

We all are know recently Google Adwords changed to Google Ads, now they introduced ad strength’ indicator for Ads now on wards for better performing the Ads Ad strength will be visible when advertisers create responsive search ads as well as in a new column in the web interface. One of the loudest complaints I’ve heard so far about Google’s new responsive search ads — which are still in beta —  is a lack of reporting on which combinations work best. Another is how to tell if there is enough variety in the options advertisers provide while still being relevant to the ad group. Google announced a few updates Monday to help advertisers manage responsive search ads more effectively. Ad strength indicator Google has pushed advertisers to have at least three ads per ad group for more than a year now, and responsive search ads are aimed at helping advertisers meet that goal. The ideas is that more ads should drive more impressions and clicks for an ad group overall. Google stresses that the ads should be “diverse” — gone are the days of simply micro-testing “Buy now” versus “Shop now,” for example. The new ad strength measures relevance, quantity and diversity of the ad copy in responsive search ads. The indicator ranges from “Poor” to “Excellent” and provides suggestions such as “Add more headlines.” Starting in early September, ad strength will be available as a column in the interface. It will show up in the ad creation interface for responsive search ads over the next few weeks. In the coming months, it will also be available for responsive display ads. Reporting on responsive search ads Advertisers can preview some of their ad combinations as they create responsive search ads, and now new reporting shows stats on top combinations, headlines and descriptions. To see this reporting in the Google Ads interface, go to Ads & extensions and add a filter for Ad types, located under Attributes, and select Responsive search ad. Google now recommends every ad group have at least three ads, including a responsive search ad. Responsive search ads should typically have at least 5 headlines, suggests Google. Duplication In Title Tags With Image Alt Tag Is Not An Issue: Google

Firstly, yes, I know, it is an image alt attribute but as John Mueller of Google said on Twitter having your title tag read exactly the same as your image alt tag on the same page is not an issue - it might be duplicate but it is not an issue for Google search. John said while "it's duplicate: it is "not an issue." Here are the set of tweets: In fact, I know a lot of CMS platforms and humans who copy the title tag from the page and place it in the featured image on the page as well. This is really not an issue, but you should reserver the image alt attribute for describing what the image is about. Google SEO Now Harder Over The Past Few Years?

There is an interesting thread starting up at WebmasterWorld talking about what has changed specifically with SEO around Google over the past few years. Specifically, why techniques they used back in 2016 no longer work in 2018. It got me thinking, how much has changed here over the past few years or so and is my Google traffic less or more or the same? So I checked Google Analytics and compared the past year of traffic to the same period of time two years ago and my Google organic traffic is up over 20%. Of course, some of that can be a single story here and there that went viral that has totally messed up the data, and Google Analytics doesn't automatically take out those outliers. If I had to guess, I'd think my traffic isn't all that much better from Google and why? Well, I haven't changed much over the years. Of course, I hope my writing gets better over the years as I write more. You know, they say the more you do something, the better you get at it. :) But looking and covering SEO and Google updates for about 15 years now, what has changed more recently over the past few years? What are the biggest things I see people get stuck with now that they said worked back a few years ago? Off the top of my head, this is how SEO changed over the past few years: Content quality: Google just expects better quality content, espesially in English, than they did a few years ago. Google is way better at determining what better quality content than they were a just a few years ago. Of course, they sometimes get it wrong, which is why they continue to update their algorithms, to try to do better. Less is more: Having fewer better pages is better than having many lower quality pages. This somewhat hit us with Panda but has grown and grown to be more of a thing over the years. Content pruning is a real thing, despite what some say. Links: Both algorithmically and manually, Google is discounting links that are not all that great in a better way. It just isn't as easy as joining a link farm or PBN and rank high in a matter of days. User experience: It just seems sites with cooler and easier UX are doing better these days. Competition: There are more web pages out there competition for the same keywords than a few years ago, so which will Google rank number one? Google UI changes: Of course, we got things like featured snippets, different ad placement, voice search, and new user interface changes at Google. These all play a role on the traffic you'd get from Google. In short, you just can't do the same old, same old and expect to see your rankings stay flat and not get worse. You need to get better because without getting better, why should you continue to rank high in the search results. It is like an actor that was amazing 10 years ago and then hasn't had another blockbuster movie since. Sometimes you need to reinvent yourself and make a splash to be recognized again. New dashboard rolling out for Google My Business

More business owners are revealing that they are seeing the new Google My Business dashboard. It is safe to say that you are seeing it? Mike Blumenthal reports that Google is currently gradually revealing the new Google My Business dashboard that it declared back in November 2017. I have had the new dashboard for my record for a month or somewhere in the vicinity, yet as per Mike, who watches the space intently, it is taking off to more individuals gradually now. Here is a screen shot from my dashboard: Here are some of the features you’ll see in the new dashboard, according to Google: Users will no longer need to switch between card and list view within their dashboard; all users, large and small, will be using the same interface. The new dashboard is much easier to navigate, allowing you to click into a listing and edit within the same window. Features such as Posts and Insights are now more easily accessible, displaying on the side navigation panel of the main page. Adding more listings will no longer impact the loading speed of the page. Are you seeing the new dashboard? You can access Google My Business and check for yourself. You’ll know if you see the “Back to GMB Classic” in the left-side navigation menu.

Using page speed in mobile search ranking

People want to be able to find answers to their questions as fast as possible — studies show that people really care about the speed of a page. Although speed has been used in ranking for some time, that signal was focused on desktop searches. Today we’re announcing that starting in July 2018, page speed will be a ranking factor for mobile searches. The “Speed Update,” as we’re calling it, will only affect pages that deliver the slowest experience to users and will only affect a small percentage of queries. It applies the same standard to all pages, regardless of the technology used to build the page. The intent of the search query is still a very strong signal, so a slow page may still rank highly if it has great, relevant content. We encourage developers to think broadly about how performance affects a user’s experience of their page and to consider a variety of user experience metrics. Although there is no tool that directly indicates whether a page is affected by this new ranking factor, here are some resources that can be used to evaluate a page’s performance. Chrome User Experience Report, a public dataset of key user experience metrics for popular destinations on the web, as experienced by Chrome users under real-world conditions Lighthouse, an automated tool and a part of Chrome Developer Tools for auditing the quality (performance, accessibility, and more) of web pages PageSpeed Insights, a tool that indicates how well a page performs on the Chrome UX Report and suggests performance optimizations As always, if you have any questions or feedback, please visit our webmaster forums.

Google PageSpeed New Insights 2018 January Update

PageSpeed Insights provides information about how well a page adheres to a set of best practices. In the past, these recommendations were presented without the context of how fast the page performed in the real world, which made it hard to understand when it was appropriate to apply these optimizations. Today, we're announcing that PageSpeed Insights will use data from the Chrome User Experience Report to make better recommendations for developers and the optimization score has been tuned to be more aligned with the real-world data. The PSI report now has several different elements: The Speed score categorizes a page as being Fast, Average, or Slow. This is determined by looking at the median value of two metrics: First Contentful Paint (FCP) and DOM Content Loaded (DCL). If both metrics are in the top one-third of their category, the page is considered fast. The Optimization score categorizes a page as being Good, Medium, or Low by estimating its performance headroom. The calculation assumes that a developer wants to keep the same appearance and functionality of the page. The Page Load Distributions section presents how this page's FCP and DCL events are distributed in the data set. These events are categorized as Fast (top third), Average (middle third), and Slow (bottom third) by comparing to all events in the Chrome User Experience Report. The Page Stats section describes the round trips required to load the page's render-blocking resources, the total bytes used by the page, and how it compares to the median number of round trips and bytes used in the dataset. It can indicate if the page might be faster if the developer modifies the appearance and functionality of the page. Optimization Suggestions is a list of best practices that could be applied to this page. If the page is fast, these suggestions are hidden by default, as the page is already in the top third of all pages in the data set. For more details on these changes, see About PageSpeed Insights. As always, if you have any questions or feedback, please visit our forums and please remember to include the URL that is being evaluated.

Google Maccabee Updates Hurt Many Celebrity Web Sites

So we've been covering the Google Maccabees updates for some time, did an analysis of it and Google somewhat confirmed there were many minor updates in that time frame. One of those updates may have hit many celebrity web sites. Glenn Gabe posted on his blog some shocking charts that shows many celebrities official web sites took a nose dive with these updates. Celebrities such as Tom Cruse, John Lennon, Lebron James, Kristen Stewart, and Charlie Sheen all saw significant drops in their web site rankings in Google. Glenn wrote, "I noticed that some celebrities aren’t ranking anymore for their own names. Their websites used to rank number one in the search results as of early December, but those sites are now either at the bottom of page one or even off of page one." Danny Sullivan, now at Google, responded to what Glenn spotted and said he will look into it: Here are some of the ranking charts showing the drop for the stars: source:seroundtable.com/google-maccabee-celebrity-rankings-24985.html

Google algorithm Update History by seoravindra

From past years on wards Google introduces difernt types of algorithms for user getting SERPs results. Here I am explained the most important algo changes and penalties rolled out in the past years 1. Panda Launch date: February 24, 2011 Hazards: Duplicate, plagiarized or thin content; user-generated spam; keyword stuffing How it works: Panda assigns a so-called “quality score” to web pages; this score is then used as a ranking factor. Initially, Panda was a filter rather than part of Google’s ranking algo, but in January 2016, it was officially incorporated into the core algorithm. Panda rollouts have become more frequent, so both penalties and recoveries now happen faster. How to adjust: Run regular site checks for content duplication, thin content and keyword stuffing. To do that, you’ll need a site crawler, like SEO PowerSuite’s Website Auditor. 2. Penguin Launch date: April 24, 2012 Hazards: Spammy or irrelevant links; links with over-optimized anchor text How it works: Google Penguin’s objective is to down-rank sites whose links it deems manipulative. Since late 2016, Penguin has been part of Google’s core algorithm; unlike Panda, it works in real time. How to adjust: Monitor your link profile’s growth and run regular audits with a backlink checker like SEO SpyGlass. In the tool’s Summary dashboard, you’ll find a progress graph for your link profile’s growth. Look out for any unusual spikes: those are reason enough to look into the backlinks you’ve unexpectedly gained. 3. Hummingbird Launch date: August 22, 2013 Hazards: Keyword stuffing; low-quality content How it works: Hummingbird helps Google better interpret search queries and provide results that match searcher intent (as opposed to the individual terms within the query). While keywords continue to be important, Hummingbird makes it possible for a page to rank for a query even if it doesn’t contain the exact words the searcher entered. This is achieved with the help of natural language processing that relies on latent semantic indexing, co-occurring terms and synonyms. How to adjust: Expand your keyword research and focus on concepts, not keywords. Carefully research related searches, synonyms and co-occurring terms. Great sources of such ideas are Google Related Searches and Google Autocomplete. You’ll find all of them incorporated into Rank Tracker’s Keyword Research module. 4. Pigeon Launch date: July 24, 2014 (US); December 22, 2014 (UK, Canada, Australia) Hazards: Poor on- and off-page SEO How it works: Pigeon affects those searches in which the user’s location plays an important part. The update created closer ties between the local algorithm and the core algorithm: traditional SEO factors are now used to rank local results. How to adjust: Invest effort into on- and off-page SEO. A good starting point is running an on-page analysis with WebSite Auditor. The tool’s Content Analysis dashboard will give you a good idea about the aspects of on-page optimization you need to focus on. 5. Mobile Launch date: April 21, 2015 Hazards: Lack of a mobile version of the page; poor mobile usability How it works: Google’s Mobile Update (aka Mobilegeddon) ensures that mobile-friendly pages rank at the top of mobile search, while pages not optimized for mobile are filtered out from the SERPs or seriously down-ranked. How to adjust: Go mobile and focus on speed and usability. Google’s mobile-friendly test will help you see which aspects of your page’s mobile version need to be improved. The test in integrated into WebSite Auditor so you can check your pages’ mobile friendliness quickly. You’ll find it in Content Analysis > Page Audit, under the Technical factors tab. 6. RankBrain Launch date: October 26, 2015 Hazards: Lack of query-specific relevance features; shallow content; poor UX How it works: RankBrain is part of Google’s Hummingbird algorithm. It is a machine learning system that helps Google understand the meaning behind queries, and serve best-matching search results in response to those queries. Google calls RankBrain the third most important ranking factor. While we don’t know the ins and outs of RankBrain, the general opinion is that it identifies relevance features for web pages ranking for a given query, which are basically query-specific ranking factors. How to adjust: Optimize content for relevance and comprehensiveness with the help of competitive analysis. With the help of WebSite Auditor‘s TF-IDF tool, you can discover relevant terms and concepts used by a large number of your top-ranking competitors: those are a brilliant way to diversify your content. 7. Possum Launch date: September 1, 2016 Hazards: Tense competition in your target location How it works: The Possum update ensured that local results vary more depending on the searcher’s location: the closer you are to a business’s address, the more likely you are to see it among local results. Possum also resulted in greater variety among results ranking for very similar queries, like “dentist denver” and “dentist denver co.” Interestingly, Possum also gave a boost to businesses located outside the physical city area. How to adjust: Expand your keyword list and do location-specific rank tracking. Local businesses now need to be targeting more keywords than they used to, due to the volatility Possum brought into the local SERPs. As you check your rankings, make sure you’re doing this from your target location (or, better yet, a bunch of them). You can do this in Rank Tracker under Preferences > Preferred Search Engines. Click Add Custom next to Google. Next, specify your preferred location — you can make it as specific as a street address. 8. Fred Launch date: March 8, 2017 Hazards: Thin, affiliate-heavy or ad-centered content How it works: The latest of Google’s confirmed updates, Fred targets websites that violate Google’s webmaster guidelines. The majority of affected sites are blogs with low-quality posts that appear to be created mostly for the purpose of generating ad revenue. How to adjust: Review Google Search Quality Guidelines and watch out for thin content. If you show ads, make sure the pages they are found on are high-quality and offer relevant, ample information. This is basically it: Don’t try to trick Google into thinking your page is about something when it really is a gateway page full of affiliate links. Most publishers make money off ads, and that’s totally legit as long as you are not cheating. source:searchengineland.com

Tips for Mobile Version First Index

Google published their tips for first mobile version index on Google webmaster blog. Here are the official tips from Google on this: Make sure the mobile version of the site also has the important, high-quality content. This includes text, images (with alt-attributes), and videos - in the usual crawlable and indexable formats. Structured data is important for indexing and search features that users love: it should be both on the mobile and desktop version of the site. Ensure URLs within the structured data are updated to the mobile version on the mobile pages. Metadata should be present on both versions of the site. It provides hints about the content on a page for indexing and serving. For example, make sure that titles and meta descriptions are equivalent across both versions of all pages on the site. No changes are necessary for interlinking with separate mobile URLs (m.-dot sites). For sites using separate mobile URLs, keep the existing link rel=canonical and link rel=alternate elements between these versions. Check hreflang links on separate mobile URLs. When using link rel=hreflang elements for internationalization, link between mobile and desktop URLs separately. Your mobile URLs' hreflang should point to the other language/region versions on other mobile URLs, and similarly link desktop with other desktop URLs using hreflang link elements there. Ensure the servers hosting the site have enough capacity to handle potentially increased crawl rate. This doesn't affect sites that use responsive web design and dynamic serving, only sites where the mobile version is on a separate host, such as m.example.com.

Google Making changes to Penguin & Panda Algorithms

Eric Kuan from Google on stage with Gary Illyes and Nathan Johns from Google at PubCon said that Google is still making changes to both the Panda and Penguin algorithms. Just a month ago we reported that Google occasionally tweaks the Penguin algorithm but for the most part it is on autopilot. Eric has been with Google for over 6 years, so he is not a new kid. We have to imagine Google does make tweaks to most of their algorithms when necessary and for Eric to say Google does do this as well to Penguin and Panda should come as no surprise. The only big issue is, if one of those tweaks impacts your site and Google doesn't confirm when they have tweaked these algorithms, it is hard for SEOs and webmasters to debug this information. But clearly Google has no interest in confirming or denying future algorithmic updates or tweaks, they do not care if webmasters are chasing their tails trying to help a new client fix their ranking issues. They just care about making sure the search results are quality enough for their searchers. But for webmasters, no - they won't confirm any of these search quality updates anymore - well, they said they would, but they have proven that they won't. Here are tweets from the session:

Google Analytics for Firebase: New Look and New Features

If you use Google Analytics for Firebase to measure your apps, you'll notice something familiar today: a new look and feel that's more consistent with your Google Analytics experience. These new elements echo some of the changes we made to Google Analytics earlier this year — the updates should help bridge the gap for anyone who uses both Google Analytics and Google Analytics for Firebase. We've also added new reports and cards that will make the Google Analytics for Firebase Dashboard more timely and helpful. Real-Time Data  We are now providing you with more real-time information throughout Google Analytics for Firebase to give you a better read on what’s happening in your app. Inside the Google Analytics for Firebase Dashboard, you’ll now find a real-time card, much like the one on the Google Analytics Home. It shows details on the number of active users in the past 30 minutes. You'll also see the top conversion events logged by the app. You can configure these conversions so you can track app events that are most important to your team. The new Google Analytics for Firebase Dashboard Google Analytics for Firebase has a brand new stability card that reports on data from Firebase Crash Reporting and Firebase Crashlytics. It displays the percentage of users who have not had their app crash, so you can see just how stable your app is. Latest Release  The new Latest Release report lets app developers track the adoption and stability of new app versions within a few hours of release. The report also contains a real-time card with an app version filter that lets you see which users have adopted the latest version of a release and know whether any versions have crashed in the past 30 minutes. It also lets you measure your users’ level of engagement. Same Great Analytics  The updated experience is more consistent with Google Analytics, but one thing hasn't changed: Google Analytics for Firebase users still get the same great app-centric reporting and analysis they're used to for Android and iOS. Our engineers are working on developments and new features we'll share in the months to come. source:https://analytics.googleblog.com/

New tools for managing Google Analytics users

Last month we announced new account management tools for businesses using Google Analytics. Today we’re thrilled to introduce another round of improvements. Over the coming months, we’ll centralize user management across a company’s many Google Analytics accounts and launching user groups to simplify the task of managing permissions for multiple teams of users. We've heard feedback from many businesses about the need for simple but powerful tools to manage access to their important analytics data and built these features help to meet these needs. Centralized user management Administrators can now centrally manage users across all Google Analytics accounts linked to your organization. If you have many accounts, and need to add users across them, you’ll see huge time savings. For example, if you need to give a new teammate access to 25 accounts, you previously had to visit every account to get them setup. Now you can complete this task from one place. Centralized user management for an organization You can also: View rich cross product and cross account details for your users Manage a user’s access across many Analytics accounts in one console See new details about how a user inherits their permissions Get clear in-product explanations of different access levels and privileges If you’re just using Google Analytics, and don’t need to manage users across accounts, you’ll see many of these same improvements inside of Google Analytics. All of the navigation and documentation improvements are present in both places. User Groups in Google Analytics Organization administrators often need to manage access for hundreds of users. This process can be tedious, especially when dealing with multiple Analytics accounts. Now you can more easily manage large teams of users by creating a group, placing the appropriate people inside it, and granting the groups access to the appropriate Analytics accounts. You can even place a group inside a group if you need to manage a hierarchy of teams. To get started, you’ll need to create an organization. Check out this help center article for more information. Detail for an example “IT Team” user group Combined with existing features like the ability to centrally audit and set policies for users, these new features bring enterprise grade controls to your organization. They also pave the way for future enhancements, such as bringing centralized user management and user groups to more products. Source: https://analytics.googleblog.com/

The Keys To Developing A Successful Internet Marketing Campaign

By seoravindra Page Rank is the process that measures how important any webpage is. This article will give you tips on how to increase your Page Rank. Websites are always measured by their Page Rank, so you want to make sure you are putting your time into making sure you have a good score. Make sure that any mention of your business in the media, be it on television, a magazine or the newspaper, prints your web address or domain name. Many people will want to check you out online if they see you via one of these media outlets. Having an informative up to date web site that they can visit will increase your sales. You can present your product more efficiently by adding pictures or videos to your review. Film yourself using the product and commenting on its advantages. Demonstrate all the features of the product. You should look natural and sincere in your videos and pictures. The goal is to show how the product has helped you. Increase the amount of hits you get on your website link by posting it on different social media sites. Twitter is a great resource for this, especially because a tweet with your link can be re-tweeted by people around the world. The more hits you get on a link, the higher up it will travel on a results page. Offer different language options for both the videos and text on your website. Do not confine your website to simply English, as this will lose potential customers and lower your profit ceiling. The Internet is worldwide, so you will want to appeal to all languages across all countries and continents. Many on-line social sites are great for Internet marketing. A service like Twitter allows you to "tweet" your business or product to others. Facebook allows you to set up a site for your business, and allows other users to become friends with your business. People can also "like" your business and easily direct their friends to your page. Track and analyze the visitors to your website. If you can't measure who is coming, when, from where, how long they stay and what they are doing on your site, it is hard to improve. This is called tracking and analytics, and can help you improve your website's business tremendously. Real estate website marketing can benefit greatly by using Google Maps. Google Maps can show visitors where your open houses are. Having this information instantly on hand makes it easier for your visitors to quickly add your properties to their "must see" list. It can therefore equal large business gains. If you are offering purchases directly from your site to the customer, make sure that you include a shopping cart with a catchy logo. This can help to improve your customers overall experience and improve the level of navigation on your site. Also, they will be able to have a clear view of the items they are about to purchase. By placing a picture or other graphic in the marketing content, one can catch the attention of the viewers. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, and one picture can greatly improve the impact of the overall content. Graphics when used correctly can be an effective tool for attracting Internet viewers. If you're using email marketing, don't go overboard with images and fancy designs. With people constantly on the move, they may be reading your emails from their cell phone. And with the small screens on cell phones, if your email has a lot of fancy formatting, it may be difficult to read. You should keep cell phones in mind when designing your emails. When marketing online it is important to be represented in as many different areas as financially possible or reasonable. This will give the marketing as many opportunities as possible to be seen. The more it is seen the better the results can be. The internet is a very big space with an enormous amount of content to market amongst. About the Author: Produce sturdy ties with customers by using magnetic sponsoring ebook that generates relationships above sales. Deliver e-mail newsletters about your solutions and services and prevent all the strong selling language, choose a more hospitable tone of voice, and make certain to thank your consumers for remaining loyal for your company.

3 Ways Online Marketing Companies Benefit Caterers

What you may not know is that they require help in order to obtain new businesses. This is where online marketing companies can come into the fold. For those that would like to know the ways that said companies can benefit caterers, here are just 3 to remember. When it comes to the benefits of an online marketing company for a caterer, search engine optimization may be a good place to start. After all, the ability to rank online is one of the many specialties that names such as www.fishbat.com offer. Caterers should make it a point to focus on certain terms, geographic-related or otherwise, so that they can rank more effectively. This is just one of many pieces that make up the bigger marketing puzzle. Another benefit that any caterer should be mindful of is social media capabilities. While social networks like Facebook and Twitter are used on a regular basis, it can be difficult to implement them for business purposes. Fortunately, marketing agencies understand the importance of social media in the digital age. As a result, they can help caterers establish greater presences on these networks, which goes a long way in the business sense. Of course, what is a business without a website that potential customers can be directed to? Catering is no exception, meaning that business owners should think about implementing web design services as well. Not only will these help to create solid layouts, but photos as well, the latter of which are essential when talking about food. Without web design, an aspiring caterer may not be able to build their business the way they would like. Are you a caterer that hasn't given much thought to hiring an online marketing company? If so, you should know that there are numerous benefits of doing so, even outside of the ones covered here. With the competition that exists in your industry, one of the ways to rise above is by implementing digital marketing services. The ones covered here are just a few, but their collective effectiveness will be difficult to deny.

Affiliate Marketing: Basic Tips To Up Your Game

By Brian McLaughlin Nowadays the need for effective affiliate marketing plans is on the rise. The demand for programs and products lead to some very innovative marketing techniques. Now is your chance to find something that works for your business. Here are some tips that you can use to get you started with finding what you need. Certain affiliate marketing programs pay off when website visitors go to an advertiser's site and take action. (typically registering or providing contact information) These pay-for-signup programs pay better than pay-per-click setups, although of course the webmaster will not see as many payments as he or she would with pay-per-click. Nevertheless, the higher pay makes these programs attractive to many website owners. Be honest to your readers and disclose your affiliations. Readers know an affiliate ad when they see one, and they will appreciate your honesty. It'll make them feel better about supporting you by using your referral link. Furthermore, honesty is important in generating a loyal reader base that will continue to generate money in the future. To check on the quality of the company you are considering working for, you should pretend to be a customer and try their phone order system. If you have a bad experience, chances are the customers you refer to them will have the same impression and end up not buying anything. In order to become the best possible affiliate marketer, you will have to understand the market in which you are competing. Figure out the problems in your market and its limitations and then work to push past them. There is a wide range of free resources around the web to help you keep tabs on any market. A great affiliate marketing tip is to edit your articles to make them generate more web traffic. You can generate more web traffic simply by using different keywords or by using a tool such as rank tracker. This is a great way to increase your search engine rankings and to make more money. Make sure that you like and trust the product you are asking your audience to click on. If you are heavily promoting items that are not good or spamming your page with every type of program imaginable, people will stop coming. It's your repeat visitors that will make or break you, don't lose their trust in you. Get in touch with your affiliate programs managers and keep a conversation going. These managers can provide you with exclusive tips and advice on how to increase your page views and sell through rate. Program managers can offer free items to giveaway and promote on your blog. They can also provide information on new products coming through the pipeline. Read all contracts prior to signing anything. Pay special attention to any exclusivity clauses that may be hiding in there somewhere. It could keep you from selling any other products from any other affiliate programs. This could really limit you to only the things that this affiliate program offers and cap the amount of money you can earn. Arriving at a site with a certain theme makes a consumer think about that topic. Only a sports-related link would benefit your affiliate site. If links are similar to the content on your own site, there is a much higher likelihood that your customers will click on them. About the Author: While best affiliate marketing programs can be lucrative for some, it may not be as successful for others. You have to remember to be patient because success does not happen overnight. It may be a little slow in the beginning, but if these tips are implemented properly you can be a success in a decent amount of time.

B2B & Why It Matters To Long Island Advertising Agencies

By Rob Sutter When a transaction is made between two companies, as opposed to a company and a consumer, it's known as business-to-business. To say that B2B has grown would be an understatement, especially when considering the digital age that we live in and the growth of social media. It's no surprise that Long Island advertising agencies use B2B, but why does it matter so much? Here is why such a business practice should be recognized. One of the reasons why Long Island advertising agencies use B2B is because of how integrated it is in social media. LinkedIn has become a popular platform for B2B purposes, which makes sense given how it connects professionals across various industries. It should come as no surprise, then, that business relationships could begin on this very channel. Reputable firms such as fishbat will attest to this sentiment. B2B matters because of how it can yield leads in the long term. For those that don't know, you may have contacted someone regarding your services and how they can be used. Even if this interaction went nowhere, it's possible that you could be recommended to other people that may have more of a need for your services. This is an example of leads being obtained in the long term, which is another benefit of B2B in general. If you're not completely sold on B2B, you may be curious to know that it can help you reach new customers, including those you may not have considered in the past. What if you're trying to tap into a certain market and yielding few results? You might want to shift your focus to another market. It's possible that the latter will be more viable in terms of leads and sales. B2B provides a great opportunity to broaden your horizons so that different audience members can be reached out to. As you can see, there are quite a few reasons why more Long Island advertising agencies should implement B2B. While there are many companies that would like to reach customers alone, this may not be enough. In fact, there is ample ground that becomes untouched if B2B is left out of the equation. The effectiveness of this service will vary on a case-by-case basis, but it would be a mistake to not even consider it

Online Marketing Companies & Covering Important Social Websites

By Robert Sutter There's no denying the sheer amount of weight associated with social media, and the various platforms it comes with. Websites such as these matter, not only for communication purposes but for the sake of business growth to boot. The latter is especially vital, as there are different platforms that can serve this purpose well. For those who would like to know about the most important social websites, the following names are worth remembering. As you might already know - and this idea can be reaffirmed by firms the likes of fishbat - Facebook is seen as one of the biggest social media platforms in the world. Not only does it have a tremendous audience, but a number of businesses that have been active on it for years. What this means is that startups should create accounts as early as possible. From there, they can utilize the services provided by online marketing companies. While we're on the subject of popular social networks, Twitter should be covered by online marketing companies as well. It's easy to see why this site matters, since it's designed for brief yet creative messages sent out in the form of tweets. Depending on how well hashtags are used, you might start to see engagement sooner than expected. No matter how long results seem to rise to the surface, you'll soon find that this platform will be nothing short of imperative to your efforts. There's also the matter of platforms being used strictly for professional reasons, which is where LinkedIn comes into play. Even though many people often consider it to be an e-resume platform of sorts, there's so much more to it than that. After all, you can reach out to potential consumers by job titles, geographic location, and the like, connecting with them before engaging further. It's a useful process that yields results, provided you put the work in. With so many social media websites to look into, it's easy to see why they matter. Each one seems to have a different "catch," for lack of a better term, meaning that they are going to be used for unique reasons in the long run. Even though you might not fully understand what these websites are all about, this is why a learning experience can work to your benefit. As long as you're willing to learn, you'll be able to make the most out of this endeavor.

Internet Marketing: How To Be Successful Online

By Andrews Kristin The following tips are essential for people wanting to step their marketing plans up a notch and spread to the internet. It is a mistake to underestimate the power of the internet and the opportunities it presents. There are so many unique ways to get your message across. To start out with site-making and web rankings, keep your site on the smaller side. You can add in the pages later on as your traffic develops and as your customer base grows, but starting simple and launching your site small is the best approach. It's like a recipe in a sense: you can always add, but it's difficult to take away. Use the power of the blog to inform customers about what's new in your business and in your industry. If you are a restaurant make sure to post about new menu items to create a buzz. Running a retail shop? Post exclusive offers on your blog to attract new customers. Using fake testimonials is not a good idea while utilizing internet marketing. It may seem like a good idea at the time, yet when people catch on and they will catch on, you will no longer be seen as a reputable company. Be ready to prove that all of your testimonials, come from actual human beings, who have used your products or services. Bring your customer to you. Use your website to post events happening in your store, be they workshops, training, or just store-only sales. Getting a customer into your store makes them much more likely to buy from you, and providing this information on your site can increase the amount of people in attendance. If you are going to use social media to expand your business's web presence, be sure to understand the difference between personal and business profiles. You want your business profile to be creative and interesting, but it's supposed to be about a business. Don't include too much information about yourself as the business owner, for example. When dealing with real estate internet marketing, your site needs both traffic and a lead generation system. A busy website without the means for lead generation will never increase your business. Visitors will travel in and out, but will never leave much behind that is of real value to you. If you've made the decision to market your business online, avoid making the common mistake of using a free website. These websites include ads, banners and frames that clutter your website and have nothing to do with your product. Some of these are pop-ups that may be difficult to close and can block access to certain parts of your webpage. You are also stuck with a domain name that is hard to remember and does not look professional. If your business begins to grow, the space you're allotted may not be enough. In addition, when the server for one of these sites goes down, it may take days for the problem to be resolved. When describing your product, you should be extremely honest. Most people can see through typical advertisement discourse. Talk about the advantages of the product, but also its limitation. You should of course focus on the positive aspect, but try to sound like someone giving advice rather than trying to sell something. Be sure to keep an eye on your keyword density and adjust it as needed. On any given page, keywords and phrases should make up about 3-5 percent of the text and links. Don't focus solely on your home page, either. Make sure every page on your site includes some keywords. No one can ignore the fact that the internet is such a vastly used forum of communication. An internet marketing plan is doomed to fail without some type of internet presence worked into it. And thankfully there is a lot of help out there for those not knowing where to begin.

Instead you want to offer them your advice and help and then slowly get them to be more involved in your activity on your fb page and then begin asking them if they are paying attention in your niche , in my case internet marketing , I would ask them would they like to sign up to my newsletter to get free internet marketing tips and training. This is a crucial step to make when advertising on fb, once you have numerous community putting their signature to up to your subscriber list, either by asking them or just by positing it on your page, you can then establish to erect a business. Once your ad is running, you need to keep track of it to make sure you are getting a high-quality click through rate anything over 0.02 I would say. The More exact your market is the higher your click through rate will be although over time it will decrease as community will start to decide weather or not they will respond to your ad. When marketing on fb, if your not getting any quick sales or not building any relationship's with anyone , then maybe you should try including a landing page in your fb online advtisement. Once you have found a good quality ad that works for you, you just scale it up and begin to construct your business like that. Also make sure that in your advertising campaign on fb that you provide a call to action, if your marketing a page then facebook already includes a call to action but generic advertisement do not provide one, so if you put that to gain access for users to click incredible, it will increase the chances of them clicking. Finally when advertising on fb make sure you don't over target and just target the community that would be paying attention in your page and also who would be paying attention in buying from you, you see if your target the wrong group trying to sell to them is a nightmare. Although if you locate and target and connect with the right group, a lot of them don't need pre-selling that much all you need to do is to offer what you have and if they are drawn to they will be much more likely and easier to sell to and more chances that they will purchase from you. Okay Guys, well that's just about it, marketing on fb isn't a secret plan its all about who you target and what you write in your ad copy, the best way is to write what you think what would catch your attention and put yourself in their shoes.
